Knoxville travels to Chariton in girls tennis today. The Panthers had their season opening matches on Tuesday with Pella rained out after just four matches. The two teams are scheduled to finish tomorrow with Pella up three-to-one. Knoxville Coach Nick DeMoss says the team is focused on improving the overall won/loss record and the record in the Little Hawkeye Conference. DeMoss adds the girls are confident they can have a second straight winning season. He says they have gone from not winning any matches in his first year to winning just a couple to last season have a six-and-five overall record.
