The Knoxville Police Department responded to a report of an argument in an apartment in the 1300 block of Gebhardt around 2am Sunday. According to Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada, 20 year-old Brandon Taylor Flesher was in an argument with another individual and became violent, pounding holes in walls and doors of the apartment. He then left the building where he saw two people talking inside a vehicle parked outside the apartment. Losada says Flesher ran towards the vehicle showing a knife in a threatening manner. Police later found Flesher and he was arrested and brought to the Marion County jail on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, criminal mischief 4th and public intoxication.
