As National Library Week winds down, so does the time to take advantage of “Food for Fines” at the Pella Public Library. The program allows patrons the chance to pay off overdue fines by donating non-perishable food items, with each food item worth one dollar off of fines on the user’s account. “Food for Fines” will donate all of the food items collected during National Library Week to the Pella Food Shelf.
