Voters Approve Knoxville’s Revenue Purpose Statement

Residents in the Knoxville School District voted to approve the revenue purpose statement during yesterday’s election. A total of 147 votes were cast, 137 of which were at the polls and the other 10 were absentee ballots. 137 voters, or 93% approved the revenue purpose statement. The school board will now discuss how to spend the penny sales tax money to improve facilities and technology in the district.
