The VA Task Force held their month meeting Monday morning to inform members that not much has changed recently. So far there has been no request for proposal for a new Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Knoxville, which was originally scheduled to be received back in March. Several members are concerned about the fact that they have been working on this process for 4 years now and things have yet to be set in stone. There will be groups from Washington DC and Chicago in Knoxville this week to discuss the future of the VA campus with task force members and city officials.
