Pella Regional Health Center recently installed new robotic technology in the hospital’s surgery department. The da Vinci Si is designed to minimize the invasiveness of many common types of surgery and allows the movements of a surgeon’s hands to more precisely control the robot’s functions. Training is already underway with the new piece of robotic surgery technology, and the da Vinci Si will soon be available for surgical procedures at Pella Regional.
