The Pella Christian boys soccer team hopes to build off the momentum they gained in their season opening win over PCM a week ago as they host a very tough Norwalk team tonight who is favored to be one of the top contenders in the LHC. Coach Josh Visser was very pleased with the intensity he saw from his guys against PCM and says they’ll need that and more to be successful today. Visser says Norwalk has quite a few players that play year round club soccer in Des Moines and they are a very physical team and have big numbers. The Eagles on the other hand have just 13 varsity players which means many play the full 80 minutes so he says today will be a big challenge. Action starts at 5:30pm today on the turf at Pella Christian.
