The Pella Christian girls’ soccer team fell 4-0 to ADM at the Pella Soccer Complex last night. The Tigers scored 4 goals in the first half, to win their third game of the season. ADM tallied 25 shots compared to the Eagles 6 shots. Shelby Sytsma led the Eagle defense with 20 defensive stops. Goalkeeper Abbey DeBruin recorded 14 saves in goal. The Eagles boys were also blanked by Des Moines Christian 4-0. Goalkeeper Nathaniel Terpstra was credited with 12 saves. The girls fell to 0-2 on the season while the boys dropped to 1-2. Both squads return to action tonight as the girls play their LHC opener hosting South Tama at the Pella Soccer Complex with the varsity playing first at 5:30pm followed by the JV while the boys head to South Tama.
