PCM Wins Own Invitational; Pleasantville 5th In Class A; Melcher-Dallas 5th; TC 7th In Class B

The P-C-M boys won their own track and field invitational last night with 137 point just nosing out C-M-B by six points for the class A title. Pleasantville was fifth with 39 points. P-C-M got wins in the 400 meter hurdles, four-by-100 meter relay, 1600 and 3200 meter runs, Shuttle Hurdle Relay, 110 Hurdles, and the open 800. Pleasantville’s Hunter Van Haalen was second in the high jump. Melcher-Dallas finished fifth in the class B race with 61 points and Twin Cedars placed seventh out of eight with 32 points, Lynnville-Sully won the event with 136 points. The Saints had a first place in the 1600 meter medley relay and Twin Cedars’ Dustin Richards brought home gold in the shot put.
