The Pella boys tennis team had a very successful season opener as they won at Oskaloosa 9-2 yesterday. Pella won five of the six singles matches with Jared Gerber, Max Van Zante, Will Loux, Jacob Martin and Justin Buzick all picking up wins. In doubles play the teams of Gerber and Max Weseman, Loux and Martin, Jacob Martisouits and Rick Williamson and Brandon Johnson and Ben Palmer were all victorious. Pella travels to Knoxville today.
