The Pella boys golf team will host Knoxville and South Tama in a conference triangular today at Bos Landen. After having their season opener rained out this will be the first official action of the season for the Little Dutch. Coach Gifford Graham says today’s meet is both JV and varisty which gives him a chance to use 12 golfers and see what guys can do on the course in competition: He says he has some strong returning players which include sophomore Lucas Boyd as well as seniors Ben Fessler, Andy Vanderbroek and Conner Kelderman which will be his 1-4 players but he says the final two varsity positions are still up for grabs. He says with three meets this week, he plans to use several different players and compare scores to determine who the top six will be. Today’s triangular tees off at 4:15pm at Bos Landen in Pella.
