The Pella boys track team ran away with another team title at BGM yesterday scoring 157 points winning six events with six second place finishes, PCM was second with 91 and Pella Christian tied for third with 76 points. Zach Wittenberg won both the 3200 and 800, Brett Bogaard won the 100, and the Little Dutch claimed victories in the 4×200, 4×400 and 4×800 relays. Second place finishes included Austin King in the 400, Chris Meyers in the 400 hurdles, Dan Borgerding in the shotput, Grant Gustaffson in the discus, Aaron Mason in the high jump and the 4×100 relay.
Pella Christian’s Zach Vos won the 400 and was second in the 800, Skyler Giddings won the 1600 and was second in the 3200, Derek Van Kooten won the long jump and the Eagles 1600 medley relay team was second.
PCM got victories from Jordan Van Roekel in the 400 hurdles, Dustin Moore in the shotput and the 1600 medley relay and second place finishes from Hutch Burns in the long jump as well as their shuttle hurdle and 4×200 relays.
