The Pella Christian boys soccer team fought hard and went down to the wire against one of the best teams in the LHC but fell short 1-0 to Norwalk to even their season record at 1-1. Norwalk controlled the ball for much of the game but Eagles goalkeeper Nathaniel Terpstra came up with 32 saves on the night. The Eagles had two strong shots on goal but couldn’t find the back of the net. Coach Josh Visser said even though it resulted in a loss, he was very pleased with how the guys stepped up against a much more experienced and physical team in Norwalk. Pella Christian returns to action Monday hosting Des Moines Christian then travels to South Tama Tuesday.
