The Pella girls tennis team finished in a tie for second place at yesterday’s Indianola Invitational Tennis Tournament. The Little Dutch scored 98 points, tying them with Southeast Polk. Ankeny took first in the tournament with 120 total points, while host Indianola finished fourth with 80.

Scoring for the tournament was based on the number of games won in each singles and doubles match. Pella had two medalists on the day, with the No. 1 doubles team of Nicole Oliver and Marah Bossard finishing in a three-way tie for 1st place with a 2-1 record with Ankeny and Southeast Polk.

The Little Dutch also medaled at No. 3 doubles, with the duo of Tori Beerends and Megan Card placing second, behind Ankeny.
