Pella’s Hanna Vollmar scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Lady Dutch soccer team to an 8-0 blowout of South Tama in Pella last night. Pella was up 3-0 at the intermission, but broke the game wide open in the second half with a blitz of four scores in ten minutes.

The Dutch dominated the stat sheet, out-shooting the Trojans 22-0 and taking eight corner kicks to none for South Tama. The Trojans’ keeper recorded four saves, while Pella’s Kelsey Fynaardt was never challenged. The win improves Pella to 2-3 overall and 2-1 in Little Hawkeye Conference play.

The Lady Dutch visit Nevada today for a tournament that will pit them against 2-A squads from Ames and Des Moines Roosevelt, as well as Class 1-A No. 1 Cedar Rapids Xavier.
