A year after Grinnell claimed their first-every victory over the Pella girls soccer program, the Lady Dutch struck right back, throttling the Tigers 6-0 last night in Pella. The Lady Dutch struck quickly, with Mackenzie Vander Molen scoring just four minutes into the opening half, followed by goals from Beth Van Wyk and Morgan Elzinga.

Up 3-0 at halftime, Pella kept attacking Grinnell’s goal in the second half, with Van Wyk and Elzinga each scoring their second goals of the game, and Kim Korver also notching her first high school goal off a rebound.

Pella outshot Grinnell 12-6 in their 6-0 victory, and both keepers were credited with three saves. The Pella girls are now 4-5 overall and 3-1 in the Little Hawkeye Conference.
