The Pella girls and boys track teams each had a huge day and swept the team titles at the Osky Relays in Oskaloosa Saturday, Pella Christian boys finished a distant second, Pella Christian girls finished third and Twin Cedars girls were fourth competing in the smaller school class.

The Pella girls won 10 events throughout the day and saw 12 events run season best times. Individual first place finishes included Regan Cooper in the long jump, Megan Current in the 100 hurdles, Maddy Davis in the 800, and Marielle Gaiser in the 400 hurdles. The Lady Dutch also claimed victories in the 4×100, 4×200, 4×400, 4×800, shuttle hurdle and sprint medley relays.

On the boys side Pella won nine events and scored a season high 159 points. Brett Bogaard won the 100 and 200, Zach Wittenberg claimed both the 1600 and 3200, Jace Versteeg won the 110 hurdles and Aaron Mason took first in the high jump. Other Little Dutch victories came in the 4×200, 4×400 and 4×800 relays.

The Pella Christian boys got victories from Zach Vos in the 400, Derek Van Kooten in the long jump,and the distance medley relay, Van Kooten was also second in the high jump, Zach Giddings claimed second in the 1600, and Zach Vos was second in the 200.

Jasmin Schelhaas led the Pella Christian girls winning both the 200 and 400 meter dashes, she also finished third in the 100 and was part of the Eagles second place 4×100 relay team. Sarah Brandsen ran a personal best and finished second in the 3000, Emily Van Gelder was second in the long jump, and the shuttle hurdle relay team finished second.

Lindsay Hoehns of Twin Cedars won the 400, and high jump, Ayla Crosby won the 100, and the Sabres won the sprint medley relay. Second place finishes for Twin Cedars included Jaspyn Houser in the discus, Brianna Wimmer in the 100 hurdles and the 4×100 relay.
