The City of Pella will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection day this weekend. The event, sponsored by the South Central Iowa Solid Waste Agency is an opportunity for residents to safely dispose of a variety of household chemicals, including cleaning supplies, paint and pesticides.

The Household Hazardous Waste Collection will be held from 9:00 a.m. to noon Saturday morning at the Pella Public Works Complex on Truman Road. Anyone with questions can contact the Pella Public Works Department at 628-1601.
