Last season Pleasantville just missed the girls State Golf Meet by five strokes. This season the goal is to get to the state. Coach Dan Calhoun is entering his 35th season as girls golf coach at Pleasantville says his expectations are steady improvement throughout the season so when they get to the end of April they are ready for the conference and postseason. Pleasantville returns nearly everyone from last season including number one player Kaitlyn Friday who was Pride of Iowa Conference medalist last season. Also back this season are, Konner Gordon, Morgan Marsh and Charley Vander Pool, and Kelsey Dustin.
