According to Knoxville Public Works Director Jeff May, East Pleasant Street between Seventh Street and Godfrey Lane will be closed to traffic beginning Wednesday. A contractor will be making repairs on East Pleasant Street and motorists will need to find an alternate route during this time. The repairs are expected to be completed in approximately one week, weather permitting.
