The Knoxville Raceway will awaken from its long winter’s nap tonight to the roar of sprint car motors firing up for the first time this season. Tonight is practice night…a night to test out all the parts or for some drivers a completely new car. According to the Knoxville Raceway…three rookies will battle for Rookie of the Year in the 410 class. They are Ryan Bunton of Illinois…Ian Madsen the brother of Kerry Madsen…and Robbie Wolfgang…son of the legendary Doug Wolfgang. Meanwhile the 360 Rookie Class has just two drivers…Jamie Ball son of former driver Larry Ball Jr….and Ryan Bickett from Ramona, South Dakota. Admission is free to tonight’s practice night.
