The Pella Christian girls track and field team turned in some of their best performances of the season at last night’s Eddyville-Blakesburg girls relays, on their way to a second place finish in the team standings. Leading the way for the Lady Eagles was a big day for Jasmin Schelhaas, who took first place in the 100, 200, and 400 meter dashes and ran the second leg on the winning 4×100 meter relay team.

Other first place finishes for Pella Christian were Lynelle De Bruin in the 400 hurdles, and the Distance Medley and Sprint Medley Relay teams. In all, Pella Christian totalled 139 points, while host Eddyville-Blakesburg won the meet with 172 points. Pleasantville girls placed 6th with 12 points.
