A social services organization, currently based out of Des Moines has plans to open a new office in Knoxville. Life-Line Resources is an organization that was founded in 2006 and provides various family-friendly services such as outpatient therapy, counseling, substance abuse treatment and transitional services. According to Knoxville City Manager Dick Schrad, the organization plans to hold an introduction picnic at Auld Park on Saturday May 15th. The event will have a variety of games and food available as Life-line introduces their organization to the Knoxville community. The event begins at 11am and all community members are invited to attend and find out more about the organization.
