Knoxville residents are invited to participate in the next step of the Community Visioning Program. A Special Places Mapping Workshop will be held to identify and talk about special places in Knoxville, which will be compiled and used to determine what the community thinks are the most important places in the area. The results of the meeting, along with input received at focus groups in March and an online survey will be the basis for transportation enhancements in Knoxville. The meeting will take place on Wednesday May 5th in the Knoxville High School commons from 3:30 until 6pm. For more information on the visioning process call Knoxville City Manager Dick Schrad at 828-0550 or Brad Riphagen, Trees Forever field coordinator at 515-386-8788.
