The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum will hold their Sprint Car 101, third Thursday series event this week. In honor of Earth Day, this month’s event revolves around the Iowa State University Solar Powered Racecar Team. Executive Director Bob Baker tells says members of the engineering and design department will be on hand to teach attendees about solar powered racing. The event takes place at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum Thursday evening at 7pm, and all Sprint Car 101 events are free and open to the public.
