The Pleasantville Fire Department was called to a stove fire on North Jefferson yesterday afternoon. Chief PJ Gasparovich reports that oil was ignited by an open flame burner. He says the structure had a considerable amount of heat and smoke on arrival, but the fire was out upon arrival. Firefighters ventilated the structure and ensured the fire was extinguished.
