The wind didn’t prevent some outstanding performances at Thursday’s Tulip Time Relays at Pella High School, in fact at least one meet record was blown away on the new track at the Pella High School Athletic Complex. Pella Christian’s Jasmin Schelhaas ran a personal record 59.91 in a first-place finish in the 400 Meter Dash, breaking the previous meet record by nearly nine-tenths of a second, and setting a new school record at Pella Christian.

Hosting their first meet on the new track, the Pella girls dominated the relay events, winning the 4×200, 4×400, 4×800 and Sprint Medley Relays.
