The Twin Cedars girls had their first track and field experience Tuesday at Clarke. The Sabers finished second with Lindsay Hoehns winning four times. Coach Dennis Verploeg says for a first time out it was a very good performance. He adds with better numbers this season they can now double up in points in several events. Sierra Spaur and Ayla Crosby also picked up wins. Five of the events Twin Cedars was entered in had two girls that scored points and Verploeg said was vital in their second place finish.
