A candidate seeking the Republican nomination to challenge Leonard Boswell for Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District will be in Pella Saturday. Brad Zaun, a State Senator from Urbandale, will take a walking tour of downtown Pella to meet with local business owners, before speaking to interested members of the community at the Pizza Ranch in Pella at 11:30 a.m.

Zaun is in his second term in the Iowa Senate, and is one of several Republicans vying for the party’s nomination and a chance to unseat Boswell. The public is invited to attend the free event at the Pella Pizza Ranch at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
