Several drivers at the Knoxville Raceway Saturday night paid tribute to Jesse Hockett by placing his number 77 somewhere on their cars. Hockett died last Wednesday of injuries suffered when he was electrocuted in his race shop. The most prominate number 77 was the number that 410 Driver Brian Brown wore on his car. Brown normally has number 21 but last night his car sported 77, and saying that Hockett was with him all the way, won the 410 A-Main.

In the 360 feature, lighting struck twice in the same place as Johnny “Lightning” Anderson won for the second straight week, and Matt Stevenson won the 305 A-Main.
