Candidates for the office of Iowa Governor, United States Congress and Iowa Secretary of Agriculture were in Pella Thursday night for a Special Edition News Magazine candidates’ forum, hosted by KNIA/KRLS. Dr. Bob Leonard moderated the discussion, which included thoughts from the candidates on helping small community economies, foreign trade and the role of government, among others.

Those present included a candidate for governor, a candidate for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, two candidates running for United States Senate, and six candidates seeking the Republican nomination for U.S. Congress.
