Central College recently honored several faculty members with awards at the 2010 faculty recognition reception.

Dr. Jon Witt was awarded the Weller Chair, which is given every three years to an established professor.

The prestigious David Crichton Memorial Award, which recognizes exemplary teaching and scholarship, went to Dr. Jim Zaffiro.

Dr. Sam Mate-Kodjo was awarded the Huffman Award for Outstanding Support of International Education.

The Hutch Bearce Community Building and Faculty Leadership Award went to Dr. Robert Franks.

Additionally, Dr. Keith Ratzlaff, Dr. Russ Goodman and Gabriel Espinosa were awarded outstanding performance awards in English, Mathematics and Music, respectively.
