Participants registered to take part in the record-breaking wooden shoe dance at Tulip Time in Pella on Saturday can begin early check-in Thursday. Check-in tables will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday in front of the Vermeer Windmill on Franklin and East First Streets.

Participants who live in the local area are encouraged to check-in before Saturday to minimize the rush on Saturday, when check-in will be limited to two hours.

Those who live away from the Pella area are encouraged to come early on Saturday morning to allow time to park and get registered. The event itself will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning in downtown Pella.
