The Knoxville School board approved moving forward with the demolition of the old Junior High Building in their Meeting Monday. The board is hoping to secure funds from a federal grant that would facilitate the demolition, but several board members expressed that they would move forward with the demolition with or without the federal funding.  The board also heard from Jill Van Woerkom on the districts adherence to the new Iowa Core Curriculum that will be implemented this school year.
