While the boys track squad from Knoxville was busy running and throwing last night in Centerville, the girls have been busy preparing for the Little Hawkeye Conference meet on Monday during practice. With only three meets left on the season Coach Jeremy Van Engen knows the last three are very important. Amy Turner has shown well in the last few week’s getting a third place at Chariton last week and a fourth in a strong field at Pella on Tuesday night. Van Engen says the goal is not necessarily to win any team titles but have as many individual championships and state qualifiers as possible.
