One day after gaining momentum with a win over Centerville, the Pella Christian boys soccer team fell at Grinnell 7-0 last night. Coach Josh Visser said he was very happy with their effort and intensity in the win Monday, but just didn’t see it in last night’s match as the Eagles were held to just five shots on goal. Goalkeeper Nathaniel Terpstra recorded 11 saves as the Eagles dropped to 2-10 overall. They return to action Tuesday at PCM. The Eagles beat PCM in the season opener for both teams and Visser says he hopes that gives his players a little extra fuel knowing they already beat them once while at the same time not overlooking them.
