Newton won the Little Hawkeye Conference girls golf meet yesterday in Grinnell with a score of 376. Pella was fourth with a 408 led by Kelsey Van Tassel with a 93 good enough for seventh which earned her all-conference. Pella Christian placed sixth with a 415 as Meredith Fopma shot a 94 for eighth and all-conference distinction. Knoxville placed eighth with a 441 and Mattie Holmes was conference runner up with a 89.
