The Pella boys soccer team began a busy week of action with a dominating win last night at home against Carlisle. Controlling the game from start to finish, the Little Dutch led 4-0 at halftime and closed the night with a 7-0 win. Nolan Chiles recorded a hat trick for Pella, as he put three shots past the Carlisle keeper.

Head Coach Mark Solomon tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he thought the team looked extremely strong throughout the match, winning the advantages in physicality, time of possession and offensive match-ups. He addded that the controlling play also allowed every player on the team to play significant minutes.

The Little Dutch are now 8-4 overall and 4-1 in the Little Hawkeye Conference, with an important game at Grinnell on Wednesday up next, followed by a meeting with Pella Christian on Thursday.
