After losing the conference tournament by one stroke last year, the Pella boys golf team once again is on top, winning the LHC tournament at South Tama yesterday with a 315, five strokes better than second place Oskaloosa’s 320, Pella Christian finished third with a 327 and Knoxville was seventh with a 346.

Individually Pella’s Lucas Boyd was runner up medalist with a 74, Ben Fessler tied for third with a 78, and Andy Vanderbroek tied for ninth with an 81, each earning all conference honors.

Pella Christian had two golfers earn all conference as Derek Fox tied for sixth with an 80 and Jon Holwerda tied for ninth with an 81. 

Knoxville had one all conference golfer as Chris Barkey tied for sixth place with an 80.
