Consideration of a pair of special event requests for summer events are among the items to be addressed by the Pella City Council at this week’s meeting. In other business, the council will consider the second reading of an ordinance amending the speed limit on a stretch of Vermeer Road, hold a public hearing and subsequent resolution regarding off-premises signs, and approve several appointments to various boards. The Pella City Council meets at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
