After a tightly-contested first half that concluded with the Pella girls soccer team holding a 1-0 lead over crosstown rival Pella Christian, the game was broken open in the second half, as the Lady Dutch came away with a 5-0 victory at Pella Christian. Mackenzie Vander Molen scored the only goal in the first half, while a Morgan Elzinga goal would start the scoring in the second half for Pella.

The Lady Dutch would close out the final ten minutes with three more goals to secure the victory. Pella is now 6-1 in the Little Hawkeye Conference and will host Dowling Catholic of West Des Moines tonight in a non-conference tilt. The Pella Christian girls host Winterset on Thursday.
