A Pella Community High School Student was announced this week as one of more than 2,800 winners of the National Merit Scholarship. Jakub Martisovits is among those selected from over 1.5 million students who entered the competition as juniors, and was one of three Pella High students that were selected as finalists for the prestigious scholarships in September. Martisovits plans to attend Iowa State University and study engineering and philosophy.
