The Pella School Board was presented with a check from Alliant Energy at Monday’s meeting. The check, in the amount of $13,820, was a rebate for energy-efficient improvements in the district’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Chris Wimmer, Director of Maintenance at Pella Community Schools, applied for the grant, which was presented by David Vollmar of Alliant Energy.
