The Marion County Pheasants Forever organization recently had their annual banquet and was able to raise money to help out with future projects. Habitat Chair Jay Jung says despite the tough economy they were able to raise a significant amount of money to get some habitat projects going and work on legislation that will be coming up for votes this fall. The annual banquet consists of dinner, auctions, raffles, and speakers and is the group’s primary fundraiser for the year.
