Pleasantville won the girls Pride of Iowa Golf Meet yesterday with a score of 414 which beat Mount Ayr by 15 shots. The Trojanns had four players earn all-conference. Morgan Marsh finished third with a 99, Kaitlyn Friday was fifth with a 102, Ashley Johner was sixth with a 105 and Konner Gordon was seventh with a 108. Meanwhile the Pleasantville boys and East Union tied with a 327 but the Eagles prevailed when their fifth player had a better score than Pleasantville’s. However Coach Ted Meyers was very happy with his teams play especially in windy conditions. Jarod Thill did win the conference individual title with a 78, Jacob Scheltzbaum shot an 80 for sixth place while Dylan Gordon shot an 83 for tenth and Colton Furnal was 11th with an 85.
