Behind two sixth place finishes in relay events on Saturday, the Central College men’s track and field team earned another top 20 national finish as they completed the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships in Berea, Ohio. The 4×100 Meter Relay team of Mitch Morris, Logan Danko, Kyle Wood and Allen Scovel clocked a 41.53 second circuit; while Wood, and seniors Jordan Gegner, Luke Bolander and Matt Patrick registered a 3:15.42 4×400 Meter Relay time to up Central’s overall finish in the points standings to a four-way tie for 17th place with 14 points.

The Central women finished in 49th place overall, and ten athletes from Central College earned All-America honors during the three-day meet. For the Central men’s track and field team, it was their 14th top-25 finish in the team standings, and the ninth time in the past eighteen years that the Dutch have finished in the National top 20.

North Central (Illinois) was the men’s team champion with 53 points, while Illinois Wesleyan earned a one-point victory over Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the women’s division.
