Storm Causes Power Outages in Marion County

Thunderstorms in the area caused several power outages in Marion County this morning. Around 10:00 over 900 customers in the county, including over 800 in Knoxville were without power. Since then, MidAmerican Energy had restored the majority of the outages, with 114 customers are still without electricity as of 11:12am. This morning’s storm also included heavy rain, with 1.03” falling in Knoxville and 1.08 in Pella between about 9:30 and 10:30am.
