Changes in location for Knoxville elementary schools will result in transportation changes as well. Beginning this fall the Knoxville School district will not provide bus transportation for middle and high school students who live within city limits. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says the district provided these services in the past because they had room on their busses and that will not be the case for the upcoming school year. Flack says if after the school year begins, they find there is extra room on the busses they may chose to provide services to middle school students, but high schoolers will not be eligible for bus transportation. Transportation schedules will be provided this summer.
