The Pella Garden Club will hold its 48th Annual Pella Tulips in Design Show, this week during Tulip Time. Visitors to the event can expect to see wooden shoes used in many of the displays in line with the festival’s theme of “75 Years of Klompen Tradition.” Patsy Sadler, Director of the Pella Historical Village, says she’s excited about this year’s showcase.

“Those girls put on a show that is just absolutely gorgeous,” says Sadler. “Remarkable designs, and [there] should be good horticulture this year because the tulips have really come along. I know some of the girls have been cutting their flowers ahead to hold them, so I think we should have a real good horticulture display.”

The Pella Tulips in Design Show will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Pella Historical Village.
