Pella’s World Record-breaking wooden shoe dance was not only the talk of the town, it made international news. Tom Vander Well of Pella tells KNIA/KRLS News that a cousin in the Netherlands saw the event reported on European news network RTL.

The RTL Group is Europe’s second-largest radio, television and production company, behind the BBC – operating in 11 countries. A record 2,604 dancers in wooden shoes took part in Saturday’s event for the 75th Annual Tulip Time festival.
